The CM1942 features two PC Operation Modes to facilitate KVM switching in a 2x2 PC / monitor matrix. In Single PC Mode, content of the PC with the current KVM focus can be displayed over both monitors; Dual PC Mode, on the other hand, allows content of both PCs to be displayed separately on two monitors regardless of the KVM focus. The SM-DPN-4D (formerly DPN-4P-Duo) is a multi-platform KVM switch allows the user to manage up to 4 different computers through two different monitors, USB keyboard & mouse, a set of speakers and USB devices like printers, memory devices or scanners. The monitor connectors are DisplaPort but it allows for HDMI and VGA connections by using inexpensive passive adapters or cables..
